Sedaghat Jabbari was born in / in Ardabil. He graduated with a bachelor and master's degree in graphics from the universities of Tehran and Tarbiat Modares, and also holds a PhD in Art Research from the University of Tehran. Jabbari is a professor at the Calligraphers Association of Iran, an associate member of the Academy of the Arts, and holds a first-class art degree - equivalent to PhD - in the field of calligraphy from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance.

He is currently a member of the faculty of the University of Tehran's Fine Arts Campus, and also teaches at Tarbiat Modares, Honar, Al-Zahra, etc.
