Rose had also managed the Cincinnati Reds from to His career ended when he was accused of gambling while managing the Reds.
As a result of an investigation that proved this, Rose was made illegible to be honored into the National Baseball Hall of Fame.[2]
Rose won three World Series rings, three batting titles, one Major League Baseball Most Valuable Player Award and one Major League Baseball Rookie of the Year Award.[3]
Between and , Rose appeared at World Wrestling Federation's (now WWE) annual WrestleManiapay-per-view event.
He was a "guest ring announcer" before a match between Kane and the Undertaker. Rose took to the ring and began to make fun of the Boston crowd about the Reds beating the Red Sox in the World Series.[4]
On June 16, , Rose returned to managing a professional baseball team for one game, serving as guest manager of the Bridgeport Bluefish, a Connecticut-based team.[5]
In April , it was announced that Rose had been hired by Fox Sports to serve as a guest studio color analyst for MLB coverage on Fox and Fox Sports 1.[6] He was let go in August when the details of his sexual relationship with a teenager in the s was revealed.[7]

Rose was married to Karolyn Englehardt from to They had two children, including Pete Jr.. He had a daughter from an extramarital affair in the s.[8] In , he married Carol J. Woliung and they had two children. They divorced in Rose was engaged to model Kiana Kim from until his death.
Legal issues
